Oxford Cardiomox Ltd was formed in 2014 by Oxford University Innovation Ltd. The technology was identified during a consulting project to support a leading Ukrainian medical research institute. A Chinese sister company was created in 2016 to access government support and ease entry to the Chinese market. The company raised £2m in 2014 and these funds are being used to complete the regulatory approval process for the current Cardiomox MCG scanner in China and Europe. Oxford Cardiomox Ltd is now seeking GBP 3 million to accelerate sales in China and support entry to the US market.

It supports rapid identification of arrhythmias and other heart conditions and the technology can be used in large scale health checks or screening. |
